Community Integrated Living Arrangements

Active Visions began providing CILA services in 1997 when they opened their first group home.  Since that time, they have grown to oversee and manage 23 homes throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.  Active Visions believes in a simple yet powerful concept: everyone has the right to choose the life they want to live and to receive respect in their home and in the community.  They pride themselves on working to create person-centered homes, meeting individual needs and preferences and just allowing individuals to be themselves!

Residents receive support in many areas including personal care assistance, socialization, community integration, money management, and skills training.  Working together with the individuals and those who mean most to them, Active Visions strives to help their residents live as independently as possible with the best attainable quality of life.
